Overdue Upate

While this site has not been updated over the past few months, many things have happened. I recently completed two facebook centric applications. Total Sports Fan and My Restaurants. Check out the Work section to learn more about them.

Downtime and updates

Over the past two weeks the site has pretty much been down. This first started as a problem with the old host, dreamhost, and continued because of some DNS problems after switching to Slicehost

Recrio, the online image editor I've been developing, is getting closer to being complete. I'll write a more in depth blog entry when I get a chance.

CSS Galleries

Well, it seems like the redesign of the site was a success. The new layout has been featured in numerous CSS galleries including CSS Heaven ,CSS Clip and CSS Based.

Site Slow

I'd like to apologize for the site being slow, but our host dreamhost has just been awful. I'm in the process of finding another more reliable host. Sorry for the inconvenience. It should be fixed soon.
UPDATE:
Dreamhost has moved the site to a different server and everything seems to be working fine now. Hopefully this keeps up.

New things.

Many new things are happening here at Alvya. I have begun development on the new 2007 Character Builders website.
Development has also begun on a personal product, an online AJAX image editor. It will not be released for a while but when it will, it will allow for easy implementation of plugins and most likely be open source.
I'm also working on a few new, better, tutorials.
